Vic Chittum, Vice-President/Operations, of Infra-Detect Thermography, Inc. holds an Associate of Science Degree in Laser and Fiber Optics with a minor in Electronics from Cincinnati Technical College. He is an ITC Certified Thermographer with an additional ITC Certification in Building Sciences.
As part of a diverse background, Vic Chittum spent 4 years in the U.S. Navy working on jet aircraft before he attended college. For the ten years after Cincinnati Technical College, he worked in manufacturing for Proctor & Gamble in Virginia, California and Kentucky. After moving to Florida in 1996, he worked in telecommunications for Level 3 Communications as a test and turn-up technician with emphasis on trouble shooting and has worked with two of the largest military defense contractors in the world on FLIR technology and laser optics.
